FUTURE LITTERS
We place a strong emphasis on prioritizing the health and wellbeing of our mother dogs over profit maximization, which is why we limit the number of litters we breed each year.
We also take a responsible approach to breeding, by only producing litters when we have sufficient homes for them.
Therefore, we encourage those interested in a puppy from us to join our waitlist, as this allows us to plan ahead and ensures puppies will always have loving homes prepared for them in advance.

Beyond breeding
If you bring a Pitter Patter Cavoodle puppy into your life, you can be rest assured that your puppy will have had the best start possible, and you will have access to ongoing support to help your pup grow to its full potential as a beloved member of the family.
RESPONSIBLE
PUPPY REARING
Pitter Patter Cavoodles is verified through RightPaw, an independent organisation dedicated towards transparency and ethical standards.
We breed for health and temperament, with both parents being DNA tested through Orivet or Embark and vet-cleared prior to breeding. Our mothers live full lives with their loving furever families and have a limited number of litters so that their health is prioritized.
Our puppies take part in an altered socialisation program, originally developed for assistance dogs and used by Guide Dogs UK, making them suited for ongoing training within all households. Our socialisation program is additionally guided by fundamental methods practised by Puppy Culture and Badass Breeders. We aid in providing additional training advice to new puppy parents to help them settle into their new homes.
Health
Both parents are fully DNA tested through Orivet or Embark and approved for breeding. Medical records have been confirmed by our third-party, RightPaw to ensure legitimacy.
We vet check all puppies for teeth, body form and perform a general health check prior to placing puppies; these records are available to all successful applicants.
Puppies are kept in a clean and hygienic indoor environment, with supervised playtime outdoors in an enclosed yard. We use vet-grade disinfectant "F10" to clean and protect against Parvo Virus and other pathogens.
Our puppies go through a comprehensive worming and vaccination schedule, as well as general health checks and microchipping before moving to their forever homes.
New puppy parents can take advantage of an optional 2 months free pet insurance, supplied by Bow Wow Meow.
Home
Puppies are raised as beloved pets alongside their mother and extended family in our nice warm home.
We have set up a dedicated cozy whelping area and play area, backing onto the living room. Our puppies know they are a part of the family from the moment they are born! Once puppies are old enough to explore outside they are introduced to our garden, where they can safely play in while supervised.
During the crucial early period of their lives, we seldom leave them or their mothers side. As puppies get older and gain confidence, we slowly get them used to time apart from their humans and introduce early training to prepare them for their new homes.
Puppies growing up here are exposed to all sorts of sounds from a young age, including children, other animals, as well as wildlife, traffic and thunderstorm soundtracks. They have grown up around our other dogs, including, a loving cattledog rescue mix who will help them feel confident around dogs of all sizes in future.
Successful applicants are invited to a private Puppy Cam livestream and are given regular updates, so they can watch the pups grow and develop from birth to home day!
Training
Coming from a rescue background, and with a rescue dog of my own, I know first-hand how big of a difference early development can make to an animals wellbeing throughout their entire lifetime.
I have partnered up with reward-based trainers and vets, for independent specialist knowledge at every step of our puppies development.
In addition to these tailored recommendations, I follow the Extra Socialisation Program and the Standardised Socialisation Program, which is used in assistance dogs and is approved by the Guide Dogs ethics committee.
These programs provides early exposure to tactile, auditory, visual, human and environmental stimulation (H. Vaterlaws-Whiteside & A. Hartmann, 2017)
Puppies which have been raised with this program have significant advantages later in life, including better trainability and a calmer disposition.
We adhere to Therapy Dogs Australia, Puppy Culture and Badass Breeder recommendations, which have been developed by industry leaders, veterinarians and behaviourists.
We encourage early toilet and crate training, positive progressive reinforcement and slow exposure training to sounds, textures, smells and sights. When our puppies are old enough, they are introduced to other dogs, visitors, children and strange sights and sounds to raise happy and resilient puppies.
Early puppy training and exercises such as these set your puppy up for a lifetime of physical and emotional wellbeing.
